New Credit Cards

Your State Bank credit card is getting an upgrade!

You will receive a new card with enhanced security, contactless payment technology, a new design, and electronic statement access and credit card information available through our upgraded mobile and online banking services. 

Action Steps

  • Watch for your new card. It will be mailed on or before October 26, 2026. Please allow 7–10 business days for delivery.
  • Activate your new card. Follow the activation instructions included with the card starting at 6:45 a.m. ET on November 9, 2026. If you plan to use the card at an ATM, you can select a PIN during activation or call later to select one.
  • Update recurring payments. After activating your new card, provide the new card information to any company that charges your card automatically, so your service is not interrupted.

Important Dates

  • On or before October 26, 2026: New cards will be mailed.
  • November 4, 2026: Last day to earn ScoreCard Rewards® points and to redeem them before the rewards transition.
  • November 5, 2026: Eligible transactions initiated on or after this date will begin earning cash back through UChoose Rewards®
  • November 9, 2026: Credit card program conversion date.
  • By December 9, 2026: Transferred points will appear in your UChoose Rewards® account.

What is Changing with Your Card and Account

A new card will be sent to the primary cardholder and each authorized user. Please note the following changes:

  • Your card number and expiration date will change.
  • Each authorized user will receive an individual card number, expiration date, and security code (CVV/CVC).
  • Your new rewards program will be UChoose Rewards®, which allows you to earn cash back.

Your New Card Features

  • Tap to pay: Look for the contactless payment symbol on the payment terminal, then tap your card to pay.
  • EMV chip security: The embedded chip helps increase security and reduce fraud. Your card will also include a standard magnetic stripe.
  • 24/7 cardholder service: Call 800.405.0031 for balance inquiries, payment information, transaction history, statement requests, or help disputing a charge.
  • Online access: Log in at www.YourStateBank.com to view transactions, pending activity, and payment information; set up custom email alerts; and enroll in electronic statements.

Rewards Transition

  • You will stop earning ScoreCard Rewards® points after November 4, 2026.
  • You may redeem existing ScoreCard Rewards® points through November 4, 2026.
  • Any points remaining after November 4 will transfer automatically to UChoose Rewards®.
  • Eligible transactions initiated on or after November 5, 2026, will earn cash back through UChoose Rewards®.
  • Transferred points will appear in your UChoose Rewards® account by December 9, 2026.

Why am I receiving a new credit card?
State Bank is upgrading our credit card processor to better serve your credit card needs. This change requires that a new card be issued.

Will my interest rate, account terms, and conditions remain unchanged as part of this conversion and card issue?
Yes. Your interest rate, account terms, and conditions remain unchanged.

May I continue using my existing card?
Yes. Your existing card will continue to work until November 9th at 6:45 a.m. ET. After that time, activate and begin using your new card. 

Will I have a new PIN so I can access cash from my credit card?
Yes. For security purposes, you will select a new PIN by calling the phone number on your new card’s activation label.

What is a Contactless Card?
Your new card features “tap to pay” technology. Simply tap your card at participating merchants for a fast and secure payment experience. You can still insert or swipe your card when needed.

My spouse and I both have cards on the account. Will we each receive a new card?
Yes. Each cardholder will receive their own card with a unique card number. You will continue to receive only one billing statement.

What should I do about recurring payments?
If you have recurring payments or subscriptions tied to your credit card, it will be necessary to update those merchants with your new card information on or after November 9th. Examples may include: streaming services, utility payments, insurance premiums, membership subscriptions, and online shopping accounts.

Will I have the same payment due date?
Yes. Your payment due date will remain unchanged.

How can I make my credit card payments?
Payments can be made at your local State Bank office, through Online Banking, our mobile app, or sent to P.O. Box 2711, Omaha, NE 68103-2711.

What if my credit card payment is automatically set up from another bank or bill pay service?
Contact the provider of this service on or after November 9th and provide them your new card information and payment address of P.O. Box 2711, Omaha, NE 68103-2711.

Will I still have access to my previous card history?
Online access to past statements and account history will end on November 9th. We recommend downloading or printing any statements you may need before this date.

May I add my card to Apple Pay®, Google Pay®, Samsung Pay®, or other digital wallets?
Digital wallet may not be available immediately on November 9th. We expect this feature to become available within approximately six (6) weeks after conversion. Once available, you will be able to add your activated card to supported digital wallets. 

  • Activate your new card before adding it to a digital wallet.
  • If your old card was stored in a digital wallet, it will be necessary to add the new card manually once digital wallet support becomes available.

What happens to my rewards?
Your credit card will move from ScoreCard Rewards® to UChoose Rewards® which allows you to earn cash back. All unredeemed points will be transferred to your new card.

  • November 4th - Last day to redeem existing ScoreCard Rewards® points and last day to earn them.
  • November 5th - Begin earning cash back through UChoose Rewards® on qualifying purchases.
  • December 9th - Any remaining ScoreCard Rewards® points will be transferred to the new UChoose Rewards® Program.

Will I earn UChoose Rewards® right away without having to register for them?
Yes. You’ll begin earning rewards the first time you use your new credit card. Registering allows you to view and manage your rewards activity.

Where can I earn rewards?
Rewards are earned everywhere your VISA® credit card is accepted. Some participating retailers may offer additional rewards opportunities.

When will rewards with my new card be available?
Rewards are generally credited and available for redemption within 40 days of the purchase date.
