Friday, October 24, 2025, starting at 4:00 p.m. you will have view only access to Marblehead Bank’s Online Banking. If you’re already enrolled in online banking, your username/password will transfer automatically to State Bank. On Monday, October 27, 2025, you’ll have access to your accounts online. (Upon first log in, you’ll be asked to set up/confirm phone number(s) and email for MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) security. If you’re enrolling for the first time, contact your local office at 419.798.4471 or 877.867.4218 for your access PIN.

    Yes. Continue using your current check supply and deposit slips.  Checks ordered after Monday, October 27, 2025, will include the State Bank name and routing number. If you order checks from another source, please use routing number 041203594, along with your account number.

     

    Generally, no. A few account holders affected by duplicate account numbers have already been contacted. 

     

    All CD and IRA interest rates will remain the same through the end of their current terms. In most cases, interest rates on checking and savings will remain the same as you earn today; however, the rates are variable and subject to change at any time. For specific information on your interest rate, please contact your local office.  

     

    On Monday, October 27, 2025, you’ll be able to access your accounts at any State Bank location.

     

    Your deposits will continue to be insured by the FDIC up to the maximum allowed by law. For more information, visit www.fdic.gov/deposit.

     

    Business customers will receive a separate letter. 

     

    Yes. If you currently have a Marblehead Bank MasterCard® Debit/ATM Card, you’ll be mailed a new State Bank Visa® Debit/ATM Card. It will arrive in a plain white envelope. If you haven’t received your new card by Friday, October 17, 2025, contact us. Your card must be activated before it can be used. 

     

    To activate and set your PIN (Personal Identification Number), use the instructions included with your card which state to call the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system toll free 1.800.992.3808 upon receipt. 
    You can also change your PIN at any Marblehead Bank/State Bank ATM beginning Monday, October 


    27, 2025, after you’ve first activated it via the IVR system. On Monday morning, October 27, 2025, as of 9:00 a.m. ET, you can begin using your new State Bank card. Your current Marblehead Bank card will no longer work at 9:00 a.m. ET that morning. Debit card limits will be reduced over the conversion weekend from 5:00 p.m. ET Friday, October 24, 2025, through Monday, October 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. ET. Debit card limits will be set to a daily limit of $500 at ATMs and $1,000 for Point-of-Sale purchases.  If you plan on making a large purchase, contact us. If you currently use your debit card to make ongoing automatic payments, you will need to provide the merchant with your new State Bank card number and expiration date beginning Monday, October 27, 2025. 

     

    Yes. Enroll in our 2Way Text Fraud Alert Service that monitors suspicious transactions on your debit card to prevent fraudulent activity.  All personal debit cardholders that have a cell phone number listed on our system will receive an enrollment text between October 1st – 7th.  Reply “YES” to enroll, “HELP” for help or “STOP” to cancel.  If you do not reply “YES” to enroll, you will receive phone calls rather than text messages when debit card fraud is suspected. If you would like to enroll but do not receive an enrollment text, contact your local office or 877.867.4218.

     

    Starting at 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday, October 24, 2025, you will have view only access to Marblehead Bank’s Online Banking. If you’re already enrolled in online banking, your username/password will transfer automatically to State Bank. On Monday, October 27, 2025, you’ll have access to your accounts online at www.YourStateBank.com. (Upon first log in, you’ll be asked to set up/confirm phone number(s) and email for MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) security. If you’re enrolling for the first time, contact your local office or 877.867.4218 for your access PIN.  

     

    Yes. Mobile Banking, including Mobile Deposit, is another State Bank resource that keeps you connected to your accounts. Beginning Monday, October 27, 2025, download the State Bank Mobile Banking app to your phone or tablet from Google Play or the App Store and use your online banking username/password to log in. 

     

    Social Security, payroll, or other funds directly deposited will continue without interruption. Automatic payments or transfers set up for loan or deposit accounts will also continue without interruption unless they are set up through your debit card. You will need to provide the merchant your new card number and expiration date after Monday, October 27, 2025.

     

    Yes. All payees and addresses currently set up will automatically transfer over.

     

    Your Zelle contacts will not transfer over to State Bank’s online banking.  If you need assistance re-enrolling in Zelle or adding your contacts, please contact your local office. 

     

    Please use the new routing number 041203594 and your account number.

     

    You will receive a final account statement from Marblehead Bank listing activity through Friday, October 24, 2025 via mail even though you may have registered for eStatements. Your first statement from Marblehead Bank, a Division of State Bank, will include activity beginning Monday, October 27, 2025 to the date of your statement cycle. Your statement cycle will remain the same.  If you currently receive check images in your statement, you will continue to receive check images at no charge. Images are also available through Online Banking beginning Monday, October 27, 2025. 

     

    Yes. You’ll continue to receive eStatements as you have in the past. You do not need to reenroll. 

     

    Yes. Access to your safe deposit box will remain the same.  

     

    Yes. Your loan agreement and payment will not change.

     

    Yes. Automatic loan payments that are already set up will continue. Payments can also be made by visiting an office, online or mobile banking, or by mail at 709 W. Main Street, Marblehead, OH 43440. 

     

    Yes. Please contact your local office for details about credit costs and terms. 

     

    Currently, your loan is being reported under The Marblehead Bank to the credit bureaus. Within the next few months, your loan will be reported under State Bk Def. 

     

    Savings or checking account transfer - If you currently have sweep transfer coverage for your checking account through a second checking account or a savings account, transfers will continue to be made from these accounts if you write a check for more than your checking account balance. Funds will now be transferred in minimum increments of $100.00 towards the amount of the overdraft. A $5.00 fee will apply.

    Extended overdraft service - If your account qualifies for extended overdraft service, you will receive a separate notification after December 1, 2025.

    DDL Sweep Accounts - If you currently have a DDL Sweep set up, it will remain the same.
